Firm Overview

Established in 1986, Seidman Law Offices represents clients whose civil rights have been violated.  Our Chicago attorneys have more than 30 years collective experience handling personal injury claims and know how to approach a case from many different angles to achieve positive results.

We pursue claims under Section 1983 if your civil rights, including your First and Fourth Amendment rights, were abused.  We also work with clients who are victims of police brutality.  While we use alternate dispute resolutions, including arbitration and mediation, as often as possible, we have the courtroom savvy necessary to take cases to trial.  We have a long history of winning large verdicts for clients in Illinois.

Strong advocates and caregivers

Many law firms boast of providing efficient care at a reasonable cost.  At Seidman Law Offices, we value our clients' welfare and wishes in addition to processing cases quickly.  We take the time to get to know you and the details of your life outside your legal problem. We regularly establish relationships with clients that last long after their claim's resolution.   We never push clients to take settlements less than what they deserve.

With the support of qualified staff members, attorneys Steven J. Seidman and Christopher D. Freeman advocate your rights under even the most difficult circumstances.  Other law firms refer clients to Seidman Law Offices because they know clients will receive superior service from a devoted team.  We keep flexible office hours, including nights and weekends, and offer free initial consultations to discuss your potential claim.

Exceptional attorneys.  Specialized care.  Uncommon results.

Located close to the Sears Tower in Chicago, Seidman Law Offices works with clients throughout Illinois on civil rights and police misconduct cases.  We operate on a contingency fee basis—you do not pay any legal fees until we win your case and collect damages for you.
